Discover Danspunt’s new publication on Sunday 24 April 2022 from 10:00 to 13:00 at CC Hasselt (in Dutch).

Danspunt is delighted to introduce its new publication.

In a three-hour workshop, Anne-Lore will explore ways of using this dance publication with you.

Play, dance, create and learn with 26 drawings and 50 ideas for games.

Een stil(l) in Dans is a pack of 26 x 2 drawings, drawn by Leonard Cools, with more than 50 exercises based on ‘standing still’. They are playful exercises for children aged 4 to 12 (and above) to train their basic dance skills: body awareness, dance memory, mindset, creativity, connection to the group, cooperation, coordination, imagination and visualisation, orientation, playfulness, concentration, dealing with coincidence and physical contact, discovering the power of limitations etc.

Who is it for?

  • For dance teachers who are always looking for new inspiration to get an enthusiastic bunch of kids dancing in a creative, well-consideredand caring way.
  • For school teachers who work with children every day and are looking for new approaches.
  • For dance makers who are looking for different ways to build up improvisations and compositions.
  • For people who love play, movement and children (or the ‘young at heart’).

What can you use the dance cards for?

  • As a fun change of tactic, to break your concentration for a whileafter an intensive practice session.
  • As inspiration for an artistic or technical study of movement during a creation process.
  • As inspiration for non-competitive movement games.
