Maakplaats

Your project and application

MaakPlaats is a dance laboratory where you can experiment, innovate, and share. Are you a new creator in amateur or pre-professional dance and in need for space to experiment? Are you a dance teacher who needs research space to find new teaching materials? Then MaakPlaats is where you can take the first steps of a new research project.

What is your dance background? Add a short tekst about yourself/ your collective/ your compagny.

Clearly and comprehensively describe your dance idea and why your project is suitable for MaakPlaats.

If needed add additional documents

How many people will you bring to work with?

What dates would you prefere to work, and during which hours of the day?

Would you like to have a coach? This can be interpreted broadly: a professional who helps you to get started, advises, guides or functions as a sparring partner.

Yes, I have someone in mind

Yes, I would like Danspunt to help find me a coach

Are you interested in a showcase? Your work at the Danspuntstudio, a small group of invited guests, and a feedback session afterwards, tailored to your preferences.

Yes

Who do you have in mind?

A video of your work (rehearsal/ performance/ inspiration) helps us find the right coach for you. Insert a link if you have a video.

Communication about your project

Visibility on social media?

Yes, I would like to make an item for social media.

No, I rather not be visible on social media.

Visibility on website: We're working on a Maakplaats archive on the Danspunt website. Each resident will be listed here with a photo, brief information about themselves, and their Maakplaats research. The archive will be a place where the maker community can connect, inspire, and connect with each other.

I’d like my photo to appear on the website, so I’m attaching it below.

I’d rather not be visible on the website, but would love to be in the archive

I’d rather not be visible on the website or on the archive
