An ode to dance, talent and creation
A new edition, a new approach!
CODE DANS+ is back! The core concept remains the same: you create a project that you present at a non-traditional dance location, close to an audience that isn’t yet very familiar with dance. But to provide truly tailored support for each target group, we are splitting the open call into two separate trajectories for the first time.
Open call
The open call for groups runs from June 1st until September 1st 2026. This call is intented for dance schools and groups, dance companies, groups of amateur dancers, and organisations working with amateur dancers.
Not yet familiar with CODE DANS+? Every year, Danspunt supports 25 projects with:
- a creation budget of up to 3,000 euros,
- artistic coaching by a professional,
- access to dance studios at Danspunt in Ghent,
- and personalised advice and guidance.
You present your work at a non-traditional dance venue and bring dance to a place where the audience doesn’t expect it. In short: everything you need to make your project a reality.
