This workshop will be given in Dutch.
Saturday is a day âjust for usâ.
You will develop dance material on a specific theme with a group of colleagues, led by Danspuntâs artistic and educational worker Anne-Lore Baeckeland and guest teachers.
Sunday is an intensive workshop day.
With really inspiring teachers! Choose from seven different options and compile your own programme.
Evelien Maes (dance teacher / researcher) will present a two-part workshop in which she aims to answer the following questions: how do mirrors influence your dance practice and how can you use them efficiently? And when are children ready for pointe work?
Barbara Cool (musical educationalist) will encourage you to take the plunge and use your voice and singing to calm your group down or get them going. She is the inventor of Zumis: short, simple songs that create the atmosphere you need in an instant.
Katrien Oosterlinck (who studied dance and visual arts) connects dance and graphic art. In two hours, she will give you ideas for three different concepts:
- Line drawings in dialogue as a duet between two pens
- A group drawing as a dance that shows what moves between people
- A massage as a collage reflecting what you experience
Do you want to see dance and movement in a new light? If so, this is absolutely the session for you!
Anne-Lore Baeckeland (dance teacher) gets you playing to learn dance, playing to discover dance and playing to practice dance… She gives us a glimpse of her playful dance practice with children, based on the publication Stop and Dance.
Silke Crombez (dance physiotherapist) zooms in on the physical aspect of dance. How and when can you train flexibility, strength and stability in children?
Niels Van Santen (dancer and parkour facilitator) presents a workshop inspired by the Fighting Monkey movement practice. Games are used to explore the complexity of movements, train actions and reactions and develop new patterns of movement.
Sophie van Antwerpen (a trained nurse who has worked for 15 years as a head nurse in paediatrics) takes a very broad view of first aid. She explains what every teacher âmustâ know if they teach children, and explores with you the issues surrounding how you can deal with psychosomatic problems caused by other stress factors.
