Movement coach Kobe Proesmans teaches you to no longer view rhythm as an external guide, but as the fundamental source of movement.

This method offers a refreshing framework for enhancing musicality and embodied awareness. The central premise is that listening transforms into movement, with the body functioning as an instrument that responds to pulse, texture, sound and silence. During the sessions, you will explore how abstract structures and associative patterns can be translated into a highly personal spatial phrasing and physical dynamics.

This process helps to shift the focus from mere ‘performance’ to an intuitive and three-dimensional experience of timing. You will be given tools to refine coordination and rhythmic sensitivity, both in individual improvisation and in group interactive sessions. The workshop offers practical guidance to deepen the relationship between sound, space and connection within your own capabilities. By working with concepts such as resistance, surrender and resonance, a greater sense of presence and intention emerges in the language of movement. It is an invitation to discover and break through rigid reflexes, and to stimulate personal creativity by using rhythm as a living mechanism.
