Have you recently graduated as a dancer or creator and are you ready to take the leap? Come to the next edition of Keukenklap on Sunday, February 8, 2026! We will discuss the artwork certificate, SBK Amplo, performance opportunities, and see two works in progress. Come along, meet each other, and share with each other.

Programme

1:00 p.m.: Start with coffee with Ellen & Elena

1:30–2:15 p.m.: Presentation and feedback session with Lien Vandenborne & Fleur De Decker: NO winner takes it all (20 min presentation + 25 min feedback)

The creative duo Fleur De Decker & Lien Vandenborne explored how conflicting values and norms can lead to polarization and, as a result, extremist behavior. What are the physical relationships between the two characters in this limiting/constructed space? How does polarization lead to apathy? And can you lean on a body that is polarizing in relation to your own?

2:15–2:25 p.m.: 10-minute break

2:25–3:30 p.m.: Introduction to Amplo & the artwork certificate

How does Amplo work and when is it interesting for you as a creator? What exactly does the artwork certificate (KWA) entail and what can it mean for you? During this Keukenklap, Yasmin Holail Mohamed (Amplo) will provide clear and practical explanations. She will introduce Amplo and answer all your questions about the artwork certificate.

3:30–3:45 p.m.: 15-minute break

3:45–4:15 p.m.: Work session: performance opportunities

In addition, we are organizing our first working session on performance opportunities. We feel that there are too few opportunities for new work today and want to work with you to change that. In this session, we will discuss and brainstorm together about what new and existing performance opportunities might look like in the future.
Your experience, needs, and ideas are central: what do you miss, what is important, what performance opportunities do you already know about, and what could be improved? Feel free to think about your ideal stage in advance. This way, we can build a tailor-made performance opportunity together.

4:15–5:00 p.m.: Presentation and feedback session with Niek Vanoosterweyck: *click* (20 min presentation + 25 min feedback)

In *click*, a dancer enters into a dialogue with technology. The performer discovers how laser light and sound effects can be influenced by movement, creating an interaction between humans and technology. The choreography is inspired by martial arts, modern mime, and the movement language of anime, resulting in a geometrically stimulating performance and listening experience. Concept, Choreography & Performance: Niek Vanoosterweyck, Interactive laser: Cris Mollee, Music: Marijn Brussaard, coached by: Erik Kaiel, Eylül Fidan Akıncı Production: Theater aan de Rijn & De Nieuwe Oost.
