The Flemish Community Commission of the Brussels Capital Region – abbreviated to ‘VGC’ in Dutch – is responsible for Dutch-language culture in Brussels and the 19 municipalities in the Brussels Capital Region. The Flemish Community Commission can also subsidise dance projects in that region.
Amateur arts and socio-cultural work
You can apply for project and practice subsidies within the field of ‘amateur arts and socio-cultural work’ until 6 weeks before your project.
Alternatively, you can apply annually for operating subsidies. The deadline for this is 30 September each year.
If you work in the field of heritage, you can claim project subsidies twice a year. Organisations concerned with folklore, for example, may be eligible for an operating subsidy.
Art, sport, youth
You can also apply for subsidies in other fields such as the professional arts, sport, youth etc
