Are you working on a concept, project or stroke of genius that has to do with movement and dance? Have you got both feet on the ground, while in your dreams the sky is the limit? Can you make us fall over backwards with an approach that is new, daring and different? Can you come up with something Danspunt couldn’t have thought of itself, but wishes it had?

There are practical obstacles between dreams and dance, but not if Danspunt can do anything about them. Because where there’s a will – and a wild idea – there’s a way!

Give us a concept to make us go wild,
wild/t dansen
and we will provide the support
wild/t dansen ondersteuning
you need in terms of logistics, financing and/or content to put your plans into practice.

New in 2020

This year we will be challenging your creativity even more! We are looking for projects linked to technology and/or science. Your idea doesn’t need to be far-fetched… but it might be. A cautious flirtation or an out-and-out Copernican revolution. Anythingis possible!

Who is it for?

  • You live in Flanders or Brussels
  • You are 30 or younger
  • If you don’t have any ideas yourself, but you know people overflowing with wild dance ideas: pass this call on to them!

Practical info

  • What we are looking for: an original idea, whether it is just emerging or already a step-by-step plan
  • More information? Contact wildtdansen@danspunt.be

Good luck! Dare to be wild!

Send an e-mail to wildtdansen@danspunt.be before 5 October 2020, briefly introducing yourself and your idea. It’s up to you how you do it! A short text or a long one, photos or videos, an illustration? You decide.

Wild/t dansen #1: Open Dance Floor

The first wild dance idea we’ll be developing is one by Hilke Dehaes. She is going for an Open Dance Floor. Just dancing, together. There are norules, just lots of fun.
We will be installing the first Open Dance Floor at the
Open Gym and In de maak, both in Leuven. Come and let your body flow!

Open Dance Floor is live on Facebook and Instagram every Thursday at 18:00! Find out more on the Open Dance Floor Facebook page.
